A huge congratulations to our three amazing runners for conquering Portsmouth’s Great South Run on Sunday 15 October!

Strategic Partnership Director Lewis Jones, Estimator Matt Oaten, and Head of People and Culture Stacey Gearey each completed the 10 miles to raise money for our two nominated charities, Nerve Tumours UK, and Abby’s Heroes.

Matt Oaten, Estimator, commented: “I loved taking part in the Great South Run, it’s a great opportunity to raise money for two incredible charities. I also completed The Three Peaks Challenge in September, so it’s great to help add to our fundraising totals.

Stacey Gearey, Head of People and Culture said: “I’ve always wanted to complete the Great South Run so this was a fantastic opportunity to do so. I was so proud to run in my Abby’s Heroes t-shirt, representing TSL.”

The event tipped the fundraising total over the 100% marker for Abby’s Heroes, but we still have a little way to go before the target for Nerve Tumours UK is met. Strategic Partnership Director Lewis Jones said: ‘I’m not a runner, but it was amazing to see our efforts paying off as we added to the fundraising totals. We began our fundraising on World Neurofibromatosis Awareness Day in May, and we’ve raised a fantastic amount so far for both charities with several events.
