In December, we were delighted to welcome Stacey Gearey, Head of People and Culture, to the Senior Leadership Team at TSL. This milestone reflects our continued commitment to putting people at the heart of everything we do as the business grows and evolves.
Since joining TSL three years ago, Stacey has played a defining role in shaping and strengthening our people and culture agenda. Building on an already strong foundation, she has helped evolve our approach in line with a growing and increasingly diverse team, ensuring our culture keeps pace with the business.
A driving force behind initiatives that support our teams not just as employees, but as people, Stacey has been instrumental in bringing our FAMILY value to life – defined at TSL as supporting people both professionally and personally. Responsible for overseeing the people function across both head office and site operations, she brings passion, energy and clear strategic thinking to every aspect of her role.
Under Stacey’s leadership, TSL has introduced a number of meaningful programmes designed to strengthen engagement, wellbeing and connection across the business, including:
- Embedding ColourWorks profiles across the business to improve self-awareness, communication and collaboration
- Employee voice initiatives, giving colleagues regular opportunities to share feedback through our bespoke intranet and cultural insight tools
- Clear development agendas, including structured training plans and personalised feedback to support individual and team growth
- A company-wide wellbeing agenda, focused on supporting mental, physical and emotional wellbeing
These initiatives are just some of the ways the People and Culture team has continued to foster trust, connection and a thriving workplace at TSL. Stacey’s promotion to the Senior Leadership Team further strengthens our ability to create an environment where people feel supported, valued and empowered to deliver their best work.
Managing Director Dexter Copeland commented: “Stacey’s passion for people and her commitment to strengthening our culture have been a pleasure to witness. I’m incredibly proud of the people-first environment we’ve built at TSL – one where our teams feel valued, supported and empowered to do their best work. Having Stacey join the Senior Leadership Team means we’re embedding that culture even further at the heart of the business, and I’m confident she’ll continue to add real value as she champions our people and our purpose every day.”
Reflecting on her move into the Senior Leadership Team, Stacey added: “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had at TSL and for the support and encouragement along the way. What makes this role so special is the people – their passion, commitment and care for one another is what truly defines our culture. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together so far and excited for what’s ahead as I step into this next chapter.”
