We are delighted to announce that TSL is officially one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work!
This nationwide workplace survey recognises and celebrates the UK’s top employers, showcasing organisations that are leading the way in employee engagement, workplace culture and overall employee experience. You can see the full list of winners HERE.
Entering into the 2026 awards for the first time, TSL achieved recognition in the Medium Places to Work category for companies with 50 – 249 employees. The submission is based solely on the engagement and responses submitted anonymously by staff on topics covering their wellbeing, pride, empowerment, job satisfaction, information sharing, and reward and recognition.
Our win aligns us with 20 other leading Construction and Building Materials companies, across all size categories, and with 567 organisations in total across all 9 industry sectors.
Managing Director, Dexter Copeland said: “I’ve long believed that building a business where people feel valued, supported, and proud to belong is the foundation that everything else is built upon. This is why this recognition means so much.
What makes it even more special is that this was our first year entering the awards. After having this goal on my personal ambition list for several years, to achieve recognition at the first attempt is something I’m incredibly proud of. Most importantly, this isn’t an award judged on turnover, profit, or growth. It’s driven by the feedback of the people who work within the business everyday. In my view, that makes it one of the most meaningful accolades a company can receive.”
Stacey Gearey, Head of People and Culture added: “This award has been achieved by actively listening to our team – continuing to focus on the areas where we already excel, while also identifying opportunities to enhance the employee experience even further. Achieving this recognition has been a business goal for a number of years, so it’s been a pleasure to help bring it to reality.
We regularly report on culture and engagement across the business, but this survey provided an opportunity for our team to share anonymously how they really feel about working at TSL. While receiving the award is a fantastic bonus, I’m equally delighted to have gained such valuable insight into our employees’ experiences. It provides a benchmark for us to hold ourselves accountable to in the years ahead.”
This recognition reflects the culture we continue to build together across the business and the commitment of our teams to making TSL a positive, supportive, and rewarding place to work.
