We are delighted to announce that we have smashed our ambitious target to raise £25,000 for Young Lives vs Cancer, with more fundraising still to go!
Across the UK Young Lives vs Cancer, formerly known as CLIC Sargant, provides critical support for children, young adults and their families following a devastating cancer diagnosis. £25k makes a huge impact, providing:
🕰️ 961 hours of time from a specialist social worker
🏠 357 nights in a Home from Home
💷 71 Hardship Grants of £350 each
Our recent charity golf day got us off to a flying start, with donations rolling in now for the team tackling the London to Brighton cycle ride on 14th September. Following that we have another intrepid team taking on Snowdon on the 27th September, and James Smith will be running the Munich marathon in October.
In between our Wimbledon-inspired table tennis tournament and TSL family day have added to the pot, along with some fantastic donations from our suppliers.
