Meet our newest Director, Dan Jarnak, who has been promoted to Technical Director
We’re very excited to announce that Dan Jarnak has been promoted to Technical Director, joining Managing Director Dexter Copeland, Commercial Director Connor Hounsell and Strategic Partnership Director Lewis Jones on the Board.
We had the pleasure of announcing Dan’s promotion at our recent team day at the Goodwood Estate. It was as much of a shock for Dan as it was for everyone else to see him lost for words. Dan joined us as Head of Technical in 2021 having worked in technical construction design for 18 years. He has led our Design Team through some of our biggest projects to date with his skills and expertise.
When he found the words, Dan said of his promotion:
“I am honoured to be entrusted with this new responsibility, and I am excited to embark on this journey. I firmly believe that our company’s success is a collective effort, and I am grateful to be part of a team that values growth, innovation, and collaboration.
‘I owe a significant part of my professional development to the exceptional individuals at TSL. It is through the guidance and mentorship of the Board of Directors that I have been able to grow and their willingness to share knowledge and support my aspirations has been truly invaluable.
‘A special mention also goes to my team, whose hard work and dedication has helped shape the department we are today and ultimately aided the business in its fantastic growth.”
Once the news had set in over the weekend, we asked him how he was feeling about his promotion:
Q. What are you looking forward to most about your new role?
A. Further shaping the technical and design department and representing it at Board level to further our principal contracting capabilities.
Q. In 3 words, how did you feel when your promotion was announced?
A. Shocked, proud, and elated.
Q. What is your favourite thing about working at TSL?
A. Without a doubt the culture and ethos that we have. Everyone gives that answer, but it’s because its so true. We have a fantastic team and everyone is so passionate about our business and clients.
